Tone Bekkestad

Tone in and interview; Presenting the weather on TV4.
Tone Bekkestad has a Master of Science in meteorology degree from the University of Bergen, Norway, and University of Calgary, Canada, and wrote her first paper on climate change in southwestern Canada already in 1992.
Since then she has worked with air pollution problems in Norway and Botswana, been Sales Manager for one of the leading companies within advanced broadcast weather graphic systems for TV stations worldwide, and has 10 years of experience as a TV meteorologist and system responsible for the largest commercial TV channel in Sweden – TV4. During the years at TV4 Tone has been voted as Sweden's best / most popular meteorologist several times. 
She wrote her first book – "Ask Tone about the Weather." in 2005, and has just released her second book – "It's about time!"
In her lectures and in the book, Tone presents amazing technology that already exist that can help us solve the climate crisis – innovative, exciting and interesting examples at the cutting edge of technological developments, with the ambition to inspire rather than to give a bad conscience.
